The “Sexual Orientation on YouTube” panel took place on the 24th of July during Vid Con 2015 @ the Kia Main-stage. It was moderated by Michael Buckley.

The panel included:

We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to Ingrid Nilsen; who at the beginning of June came out as a lesbian on her channel. The video is skyrocketing with almost 10 million views (at the time of writing).
Ingrid’s video is inspiring, heartwarming and proves that she is one of the best Youtubers around. It is a pleasure to have her on our screens.

Ingrid Nilsen a.k.a Missglamorazzi is apart of AwesomenessTV’s Make Me aover series and recently did an interview with Teen Vogue about the show. Here is an excerpt of the interview.
How has having your YouTube channel prepared you for your role on Make Me Over?
It’s definitely helped me be really comfortable in front of cameras. I’ve never done any kind of hosting before, but it comes pretty naturally because I’m used to talking to a lens. Now it’s just a lot more fun because I actually have a ton of people around me that I can interact with!
How do you think a makeover can help teens to feel better about themselves?
A lot of girls struggle with feeling confident, and at the end of the makeover, the smiles on their faces, the reactions from friends and family, and the tears are real. They’re venturing off into high school or college, such completely new worlds, and the makeovers we give them provide the confidence they need to take on these adventures.
